Trivia[]

  • The P-38 Lightning is the only playable fighter aircraft that appears in all games except Strikers 1945 III, in which P-38 is replaced by F/A-18 Super Hornet.
  • In the Android version of Strikers 1945, this aircraft is always available at all times.
    • This is no longer the case as of September 24, 2020. It is instead the player's starter aircraft while all other aircraft have to be unlocked.
  • In Strikers 1945 World War, the P-38 Lightning is also the player's starting aircraft.
  • In Strikers 1945 Collection, the Strikers 1945 I version of the P-38 Lightning, with a rarity level of R, is the player's starter aircraft.
    • There also exists the Strikers 1945 II version of the aircraft, with a rarity level of A, which can be unlocked by completing its Character Puzzle and buying it or opening a Common Random Chest.
  • Besides Strikers 1945 I, II and Plus, the P-38 was also the main plane in Capcom's 1940 series, especially in 1943: The Battle of Midway.
