Trivia[]
The P-38 Lightning is the only playable fighter aircraft that appears in all games except Strikers 1945 III, in which P-38 is replaced by F/A-18 Super Hornet.
In the Android version of Strikers 1945, this aircraft is always available at all times.
This is no longer the case as of September 24, 2020. It is instead the player's starter aircraft while all other aircraft have to be unlocked.
In Strikers 1945 World War, the P-38 Lightning is also the player's starting aircraft.
In Strikers 1945 Collection, the Strikers 1945 I version of the P-38 Lightning, with a rarity level of R, is the player's starter aircraft.
There also exists the Strikers 1945 II version of the aircraft, with a rarity level of A, which can be unlocked by completing its Character Puzzle and buying it or opening a Common Random Chest.
Besides Strikers 1945 I, II and Plus, the P-38 was also the main plane in Capcom's 1940 series, especially in 1943: The Battle of Midway.
